
TCU Opens Play at LSU Tiger Golf Classic

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The TCU women's golf team is tied for 15th after Friday's opening round of the LSU Tiger Golf Classic.
Sanna Nuutinen was the top Horned Frog individually with a 5-over-par 77, placing her in a tie for 28th. The senior from Helsinki, Finland, birdied three consecutive holes on the front nine and finished with a team-best four birdies on the day.
Chaney Uhles had a pair of birdies in a three-hole stretch on the back nine for the Horned Frogs.
TCU's April McCoy contributed a 79.
Purdue holds the team lead with a 9-over 297. The Boilermakers' Aurora Kan is the individual leader after carding a 71.
