Frogs Finish Fifth at Morris Williams Intercollegiate Tournament

The TCU men's golf team posted a fifth place finish at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate Tournament at the UT Golf Club hosted by the University of Texas.
The Frogs finished with a 54-hole score of 901 (302-294-305) with a team score of 305 coming in the final round of action. Oklahoma State claimed the tournament title with a team score of 863 while Arkansas (888), USC (891), Texas (896) and TCU rounded out the top-five at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate Tournament.
Freshman Alexander Knappe (Brilon, Germany | Berufs H.S.) recorded his first career top-10 showing as the TCU newcomer notched a 54-hole score of 222 (78-71-73), including a 73 in the final round of action.
James Sacheck (The Woodlands, Texas | Zionsville H.S.) finished tied for 17th overall with a score of 223 (72-78-73) while Scott Roudebush (Austin, Texas | Austin H.S.) notched a 32nd-place showing with a score of 229 (77-71-81).
Robby Ormand (Austin, Texas | James Bowie H.S.) earned a 58th-place finish with a score of 234 (75-81-78) while Tom Hoge notched a 54-hole score of 238 (81-74-83) en route to finishing tied for 76th overall.
The Frogs will be back in action at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational on April 10th at the ASU Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz.
