Volleyball Heads to Rice for Spring Tournament

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - Two weeks into spring practices, the TCU volleyball team will get its first taste of game action as they head to Rice for a an eight-team tournament. The all-day event begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Frogs will play five matches on the day.

The Frogs are coming off yet another 20-win campaign, their fourth overall and second straight. The Frogs return all but three members from the 2008 club.

This tournament is the first of four that the Horned Frogs will participate in this spring.

The Tournament Schedule:
9:30 a.m. - TCU vs. SMU (Court Three in Fox Gym)
11:30 a.m. - TCU vs. Rice (Autry Court in Tudor Fieldhouse)
2:00 p.m. - TCU vs. Stephen F. Austin (Court Three in Fox Gym)
3:00 p.m. - TCU vs. Houston (Court Two in Fox Gym)
4:00 p.m. - TCU vs. Rice (Autry Court in Tudor Fieldhouse)
