FORT WORTH – Following a fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance and back-to-back 20-win regular seasons, head coach Jason Williams bolstered his roster for 2026 with the addition of four mid-year transfers, Blaykli Bobik, Addy Horner, De'Andrea McMillian and Reese Robins.
The transfer group brings valuable championship-level experience, including two players with a Final Four appearance under their belt. Two Texas natives, McMillian and Robins, return to their home state to join the Horned Frogs along with Bobik and Horner. They look to mesh with a TCU team that returns a strong core from a season ago and has its sights set on a deep Tournament run in 2026. Read more about each transfer below:
Blaykli Bobik | 6-1 | Outside/Opposite Hitter | Queen Creek, Ariz.
Blaykli Bobik joins the Frogs after two seasons at BYU. The 6'1" outside hitter appeared in 20 matches over the course of her freshman season with the Cougars, totaling 71 kills, 39 blocks and 17 digs on the court. She logged double-digit kills in back-to-back matches against San Diego and Oregon, finishing with a career-high 12 against the Ducks on Sept. 13. She saw BYU advance to the NCAA Tournament and post a 19-10 record in 2024 before missing the 2025 season due to injury.
Coming out of high school, Bobik was ranked as the No. 132 recruit in the nation by PrepDig and was a member of the PrepVolleyball Top 150 in the class of 2024. She amassed over 1,000 kills in her high school career at Queen Creek, finishing with 1,136 total kills. As a senior, Bobik helped Queen Creek advance to the semifinals of the AIA State Girls Volleyball Championship Tournament.
Addy Horner | 6-3 | Setter | Wheaton, Ill.
A talented setter, Addy Horner, takes her talents to Funky Town after playing in 26 matches at Wisconsin as a freshman. She gained valuable experience in her lone season in Madison, stepping up to run the offense over a span of 10 matches when the Badgers' All-American setter went down with an injury. Horner totaled 398 assists during that stretch, helping lead Wisconsin to ranked wins over No. 23 UCLA and No. 22 Minnesota, as well as four matches with a .300 or better hitting percentage.
A three-time High School All-American, Horner was rated the No. 1 setter and No. 2 player in Illinois in the class of 2025 as well as the No. 17 player in the nation by PrepDig. At St. Francis, she made history as the only player to record 1,000 assists and 1,000 kills. She led the Spartans to a pair of state championship titles, being named MVP and an All-State honoree her sophomore and junior seasons. Additionally, Horner has spent time training with the USA Volleyball NTDP throughout her prep career.
De'Andrea McMillian | 6-2 | Middle Blocker | Mansfield, Texas
After redshirting at Florida this past season, De'Andrea McMillian returns to the Lone Star State to play for the Frogs. A highly touted recruit out of Mansfield, she was a High School Under Armor Next All-American, tallying 632 kills and 251 total blocks in three seasons at Wylie East before transferring to Mansfield Lake Ridge her senior year. McMillian was tabbed District 3-6A Blocker of the Year in 2024 and helped lead her team to BI-District Championships in back-to-back seasons as a junior and senior. On the club circuit, she was named to the AVCA Phenom list in 2023 and 2024 and has trained with the USA Volleyball NTDP on multiple occasions.
Reese Robins | 6-5 | Opposite Hitter | Mansfield, Texas
Mansfield, Texas, native Reese Robins is coming home for her final season of eligibility. She joins the Frogs after playing in 78 matches and 230 sets over the span of three seasons at Louisville. In her career, she boasts 286 career kills on a .289 clip to go along with 132 total blocks.
Robins saw most of her collegiate action as a sophomore when she collected AVCA All-South Region honors after helping the Cards make a run to the National Championship match. During that 2024 season, she hit 0.295 on the season with 209 kills, 97 blocks and 50 digs. Robins also trained with the USA Volleyball WNTDP in Colorado Springs in February 2024.
