TCU head coach Jeff Mittie
On building off last weekend's trip to the Bahamas
"I think that anytime you come back from a long trip, and particularly a big win, you can be a little sluggish. I think we were a little tired tonight, but I was pleased with the first 10 minutes of the ball game defensively. It was as good as we have been defensively. Offensively, we never seemed to get in to sync all night."
On TK LaFleur's performance
"We needed somebody making some shots. Shots were hard to come by tonight. I thought she had good rhythm, she had good activity on the glass and hit some big shots for us."
TCU senior guard TK LaFleur
On her team's performance
"It was a team win. We were really focused on making our cuts, being in our stances and having our hands up and keeping up the effort. I think the focus (from Saturday's win over Kansas) carried over to tonight's game, especially on the defensive side. We definitely were sharp on defense, and that sparked us on offense."
On her individual offensive success
"I just wanted to come in with the mindset of being more confident in my shot and my team getting me the ball. I can always count on the team to get me the ball and to get things rolling whenever shots aren't falling for me."
