Wilson/ITA Regional Championships comes to a close at TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas - No. 7 Bojan Szumanski of Texas Tech defeated No. 3 Alexander Skrypko of SMU 6-3, 6-4 to claim the Wilson/ITA South Central Region singles championship on Tuesday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
In the men's doubles championship, the No. 6 duo of Andrei Kumantsov and Mikael Pavlov from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi defeated Baylor's No. 5 tandem of Matt Brown and David Galic.
The singles finalists and the doubles champions will receive an automatic bid to the National Indoors Championship in Columbus, Ohio, on Nov. 2-5.
