TCU women's basketball to host clinic

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU women's basketball program will host a coaches clinic beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in TCU's Schollmaier Basketball Complex. Those interested are asked to RSVP with Jodi Christian at (817) 257-7962 or j.christian@tcu.edu. Cost for the event is $40.An intinerary for the coaches clinic is provided below.
Saturday, Sept. 24, Schollmaier Basketball Complex
9:30 a.m. -- Registration begins
10 a.m. -- Candi Harvey (Timberview H.S.) on multiple defensive schemes
11 a.m. -- Joe Lombard (Canyon H.S.) on the Canyon program and defensive strategies
Noon -- Michael Landers (Trinity Valley Community College) on multiple offensive sets
Lunch provided at practice facility
1 p.m. -- TCU on court instruction with guard, forward and post drills
2 p.m. -- Bobby Bates (Denton H.S.) on shooting drills
3 p.m. -- Ron Gathright (BCI/Tioga H.S.) on quick hitters vs. zone and man
4:30 p.m. -- Coaches reception at Blue Mesa restaurant
6 hours of in-service credit will be given
