- TCU junior forward Ashley Davis scored 14 points for her third double-digit scoring effort in four games this season. Davis has scored 10-plus 26 times in her career.
- TCU sophomore forward Lorie Butler-Rayford grabbed 10 rebounds to pick up her fifth career 10-plus rebound effort and second of the season.
- The Lady Frogs came into the Caribbean Classic shooting just 33.1 percent (44-of-133) through two home games. They shot 42.9 percent (51-of-119) in Mexico.
- TCU's Jeff Mittie suffered only his second regular-season loss at a neutral setting as the Lady Frogs' head coach.
- TCU junior guard Natasha Lacy had her streak of nine consecutive games scoring in double figures snapped. She scored six points against North Carolina.
- The Lady Frogs' free throw shooting woes continued, as they made just 8-of-15 shots (.533). For the season, TCU is now shooting 53.7 percent (44-of-82).
- Despite committing five less turnovers than North Carolina, TCU was outscored in points off TOs 23-16.
- The minus-16 rebound margin for TCU was the most since Tulane held a 49-32 advantage in a 63-59 victory over the Lady Frogs on Feb. 10, 2002.
