Horned Frogs Dropped in Semis at adidas Invitational

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga.
The TCU men's tennis team's remaining competitors in the adidas Invitational in Peachtree City, Ga., saw their run in the tourney come to an end Sunday morning. Rafael Abreu and Jacopo Tezza each lost their semifinal matches. Abreu was dropped by Notre Dame's Matt Scott, 6-3, 6-4, while Tezza fell to No. 38 Walter Ludovic of Duke in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4. Both Frogs will travel to Chattanooga, Tenn., next weekend to take part in the pre-qualifying round of the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships beginning Oct. 3.
