Stanford Named Women's Golf Player of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 29) - TCU senior Angela Stanford (Saginaw, Texas/Boswell HS) has been named the Western Athletic Conference women's golf Player of the Week.

Stanford, a native of, led TCU to a team victory at the Midwest Classic, February 25-27 in Dallas. Stanford had rounds of 75-75-76 to win the individual title by just one stroke. Stanford is currently ranked 14th by Golfstat and has been TCU's top finisher in every tournament this year, including three individual titles.

Additional nominees included: Marcela Leon, San Jose State and Stacy Prammanasudh, Tulsa.
