Yaya Keita is in his first season as a graduate assistant for TCU men’s basketball.
Keita came to TCU following a playing career at Missouri and Oklahoma. He played at Missouri during the 2021-22 season before transferring to Oklahoma for three seasons from 2022-25.
While with the Sooners, Keita was involved in SAAC and served as vice president in 2023. He also represented OU at the Black Student-Athletes Leadership Summit in 2024. Keita earned the Missouri Athletic Director’s Encouragement Award in 2021.
Keita earned his degree in communications from Oklahoma in 2025.
