2010 (Sophomore):
• Appeared in eight games (seven as a pinch hitter and one as a pinch runner).
• Hit .250 on the season with two RBIs and a walk.
• Both of his RBIs came with two outs.
• Reached base in three games and tallied a hit in two.
• Was 1-for-6 as a pinch hitter with an RBI and a walk.
• Made his first appearance of the season against Sam Houston State on Feb. 21.
• Reached base for the first time on March 2 against UT San Antonio with a walk.
• Tallied his first career hit on April 28 at Baylor.
• Drove in a run with that hit.
• Singled, drove in a run and scored against Cal State Bakersfield on May 20.

• Earned three varsity letters for Head Coach Rocky Manuel.
• Was a Preseason All-American prior to his senior campaign.
• Earned all-state and all-Greater Houston honors as a senior.
• Was a three-time first-team all-district performer.
• Ranked as the No. 61 position player by Perfect Game.
• As a junior, he was ranked by Baseball America as one of the top 300 2007 graduates.
• Earned invitations to the Perfect Game National Showcase at Arkansas and to the AFLAC Showcase in San Diego in the summer of 2006.
• Awarded the 2007 Ray Knoblauch Award (given to a Bellaire High School senior for excellence on and off the field).
