Made five appearances on the mound, including one start... held opponents to just three hits in 9 1/3 innings of work... struck out eight and walked five... the only run he allowed was unearned... team was 5-0 in games he pitched... didn[apos]t allow either of his two inherited runners to score... first appearance of the season came when he started against Louisiana-Monroe on April 17... allowed just on unearned run on one hit in a career-high four innings of work... fanned a career-high five batters and walked three... tossed a pair of scoreless innings against Manhattan (April 28) and at Air Force (May 12)... retired all three batters he faced against Manhattan on April 29.
2010 (Redshirt Freshman):
Made eight appearances on the mound... team was victorious in all eight of his outings... held opponents scoreless in four of the eight outings... finished the season with a 5.79 ERA in 9.1 innings pitched... made his collegiate debut on Feb. 18 against Kansas... allowed a run on two hits in three innings of work to earn his lone save of the season... tossed a scoreless inning against Air Force on April 1... pitched a scoreless frame against New Mexico on May 19... was solid in a two-inning stint against Utah in the conference tournament on May 27... struck out two in the contest.

Coaches elected to redshirt Duffie in 2010... played summer ball in Hawaii for Kamuela.

A three-time all-district performer... earned second-team all-district honors as a sophomore and junior... garnered first-team all-district honors as a senior... member of the 2008 All-TASO team as a senior... as a sophomore, was a member of the Sunbelt All-Texas Team... posted a 3-0 with 20 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched to go along with a 1.40 ERA... as a junior, he was 4-0 with a save and 29 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched... played with the Houston Heat programs in the summer.
