• Played one season for the Red Raiders and Head Coach Larry Hays.
• Went 1-0 in 21 appearances with a 5.09 ERA.
• Fanned 21 batters in 23 2/3 innings pitched.
• Also notched five saves on the season.
At North Central Texas College:
• Compiled a 13-4 record in two seasons for Head Coach Scott Harp.
• Helped lead the Lions to a third-place conference and regional finish as a sophomore.
Brewer High School:
• Earned two varsity letters for Head Coach Terry Massey.
• Was an all-district performer as a junior and senior.
• Compiled a 13-3 record as a senior in 92 innings pitched with 120 strikeouts.
• Named District 8-4A Pitcher of the Year as a senior.
• Was also a standout quarterback throwing for over 2,500 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2004.
