Preview: vs. Texas

FORT WORTH – The TCU women's soccer program is primed to close out the nonconference slate with a highly anticipated showdown against Texas on Sunday, September 6 at 7 p.m. at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.

Holding a 3-1-1 record heading into tomorrow's contest, TCU has earned two wins over SEC opponents already this season, defeating No. 17 Georgia and Texas A&M. Also, the Horned Frogs have secured a pair of victories against ranked foes with the win over the Bulldogs and No. 22 Wisconsin.

TCU will be donning its new black uniforms for the first time this season on Sunday. Fans attending the matchup are encouraged to wear purple.

FROG FACTS

In the last seven matchups, TCU is 3-3-1 against Texas.
The two teams first played in 1986, and the Frogs hold a 13-10-5 ledger against the Longhorns.

TCU's run of dominance in the Big 12 continued last season, as the Frogs won their fourth Big 12 Regular Season crown in the past six seasons.
