Fifth-ranked TCU begins four-match homestand on Friday vs. Knights
FORT WORTH – The 2026 dual season is already two-and-a-half months old, yet this weekend, No. 5 TCU will take the outdoor purple courts for the first time.
The Horned Frogs begin a four-match homestand vs. UCF at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. Following the Big 12 bout, TCU hosts St. John's at 1 p.m. on Sunday in a nonconference affair.
TCU (13-5, 2-1 Big 12) has played nine of its last 10 matches away from home. TCU owns seven top-25 victories while all five of its losses have come to teams presently featured in the top-15 of the ITA rankings.
Friday's dual will go a long way in determining whether TCU can win a seventh Big 12 regular season title. UCF (17-2, 3-0 Big 12) is tied with Arizona atop the conference standings.
The match marks the fifth time in the last two years the Horned Frogs and Knights have crossed paths. TCU faced UCF three times in 2025, most recently shutting out the Knights 4-0 on May 10 in an NCAA Super Regional bout in Fort Worth. The Frogs are 3-1 vs. UCF since the Knights joined the Big 12.
TCU and St. John's (13-4) have never met on the hardcourts.
