Horned Frogs roll to 4-1 road win over 25th-ranked Sun Devils
TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State was no match for No. 2 TCU on Friday in the heartbeat of the Sonoran Desert.
Playing their eighth match away from home vs. a top-25 team in their last nine outings, the Horned Frogs coasted to a 4-1 road win over the 25th-ranked Sun Devils at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
TCU (13-4, 2-0 Big 12) dropped just one completed set all dual. The only reason Arizona State scored a point was because the Horned Frogs retired court one midway through the opening frame after Cosme Rolland De Ravel sustained an injury.
Prior to that moment, Rolland De Ravel and Duncan Chan, the ITA No. 2 ranked doubles pair, clinched the doubles point with a victory on the 1-line. Cooper Woestendick, Olvier Bonding and Albert Pedrico swept courts three through five to sew up the win.
Friday's triumph over the Sun Devils (13-6, 0-1 Big 12) extended the Horned Frogs winning streak to five matches.
TCU notched its eighth victory of the 2025-26 campaign over a team presently featured in the top-25 of the ITA team rankings.
The Horned Frogs have now won 14 consecutive conference matches dating back to April of 2024.
TCU improved to 10-0 all-time vs. the Sun Devils
