Frogs return home for Big 12 showdown
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's soccer team is set to return home to Fort Worth, beginning a streak of three straight matches at home with a showdown against Cincinnati on Friday, October 2 at 7 p.m. at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
TCU (4-4-1, 1-2-0 Big 12) is coming off a 1-1 week of play against Utah and BYU. The Horned Frogs were able to secure the win over Utah thanks to an Eres Freifeld goal in the first half and most recently fell to BYU on Monday in Provo.
The program is set to honor its alumni on Friday's match against Cincinnati. Along with the alumni recognition, the 2016 team is set to be honored for being the first in program history to make the NCAA Tournament and creating the iconic "FrogSide" mantra.
That season, TCU made it to the Big 12 Tournament final and had three All-Big 12 members. Since 2016, TCU has made eight of the last nine NCAA Tournaments and punched its ticket to the NCAA College Cup for the first time in school history last season.
