No. 8 TCU set to kickoff spring slate against No. 7 UC Davis in annual meet at Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo
FORT WORTH – After a two-month-plus hiatus, the eighth-ranked TCU equestrian team is set to return to action for its annual meet at John Justin Arena at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo on Thursday.
Fans attending are encouraged to wear purple to gain free entry to the meet. The action is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
With John Justin Arena only featuring one ring, the meet will begin with Fences and Flat before shifting to Western events of Reining and Horsemanship.
TCU (3-3) is facing its seventh ranked opponent of the season. The Frogs' three wins during the fall slate came against No. 6 Oklahoma State, No. 8 Baylor and No. 1 Georgia, all at home.
