FORT WORTH – TCU will challenge three reigning NCAA Tournament teams, compete in the Cancun Challenge and play nine home games over the course of nonconference play.
The Horned Frogs and head coach Mark Campbell unveiled the program's 2025-26 nonleague schedule, beginning with a season-opener on Nov. 6 vs. NC A&T in Schollmaier Arena.
The 13-game slate is highlighted by tilts vs. powerhouse programs NC State and Ohio State. Both the Wolfpack and Buckeyes earned national seeds in the 2025 NCAA Tournament as did the Horned Frogs and are likely preseason AP top-15 teams. TCU completes its home-and-home scheduling agreement with NC State on Nov. 16 with a visit to Raleigh. The Frogs face Ohio State on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 19, in Newark, N.J. as a part of the Coretta Scott King Classic.
TCU will twice tip off during its Thanksgiving holiday visit to the Yucatan Peninsula. Up first is a Turkey Day tussle with Richmond. The matchup is a resume booster for the Frogs' schedule. Richmond reached the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament and was tabbed 32nd in the year-end NCAA NET rankings. TCU concludes its stay in Mexico the following day opposite UAB.
The Horned Frogs commence the 2025-26 campaign with a three-game homestand. TCU hosts Sam Houston (Nov. 9) and Tennessee State (Nov. 12) before venturing to North Carolina. Home games vs. Tarleton and UTRGV on Nov. 20 and Nov. 23, respectively, precede the Cancun Challenge.
Four consecutive home games bridge nonconference play with the start of Big 12 action. The December lineup gets underway with contests opposite Incarnate Word (Dec. 3) and UTEP (Dec. 6). Following a weeklong break for final exams, TCU battles Jacksonville and Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Dec. 14 and Dec. 16.
In total, TCU will take the Frog-scaled home hardwood 18 times. The Frogs boast the nation's third-longest home winning streak at 24 games and were undefeated along Stadium Dr. in 2024-25 with a 21-0 record.
The Big 12 schedule matrix was released in June. Five of the nine league opponents set to visit Fort Worth reached the Big Dance in March; Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and West Virginia. The other four conference foes making their way to Schollmaier Arena are Arizona, Arizona State, Houston and Kansas.
Tipoff times and broadcast designations for each game, along with the complete Big 12 schedule, will be announced at a later date.

TCU is coming off a 34-4 season that culminated with a sweep of the Big 12 regular season and tournament championships, the university's first NCAA Elite Eight appearance and a final AP Top 25 ranking of No. 6.
The Horned Frogs lead college basketball in returning 3-point offense for the second straight season. Including its nine newcomers, TCU's roster averaged 14.3 threes per game in 2024-25. Entering the 2025-26 campaign, TCU is the only program ranking in the top-10 nationwide in 3-point field goals (3rd, 666), 3-point field goals per game (5th, 9.4) and 3-point percentage (6th, .372) over the last two seasons.
TCU has topped the Power Conference ranks in year-over win improvement in each of Campbell's two seasons at the helm, spiking its win tally by 13 games both times.
