
Horned Frogs Sign FIU Transfer, Salatchoum

Post presence is solidified with veteran big man pick-up
FORT WORTH – TCU men's basketball added more depth to its frontcourt with the addition of former FIU center Vianney Salatchoum.
Salatchoum averaged 10.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game last season at FIU and was named to the Conference USA All-Defensive Team. He scored in double figures 16 times including three games of 20 or more points. Salatchoum's career-high of 21 points came at Western Kentucky and against Middle Tennessee when he made 10-of-14 field goal attempts.
The 6-11 native of Cameroon shot 51.2 percent from the field and was 4-of-9 for 44.4 percent from 3-point range.
Prior to FIU, Salatchoum spent two seasons at Panola College in Carthage, Texas.
Salatchoum will join transfers Brock Harding, Liutauras Lelevicius, Jayden Pierre and Tanner Toolson as well as fall signees Xavier Edmonds and Kayden Edwards as newcomers for the 2025-26 season.
