No. 8 TCU begins play in quarterfinals at 1:30 p.m. on Friday
FORT WORTH – TCU looks to solidify its case for a high seed in the NCAA Tournament and clean sweep of the Big 12 titles as it heads to Missouri for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship.
TCU earned the No. 1 seed and a double bye into the quarterfinals by virtue of its outright Big 12 regular season championship. The Horned Frogs face No. 8 seed Arizona, No. 9 Colorado or No. 16 Houston at 1:30 p.m. on Friday depending on results of the first two rounds of play.
A victory on Friday likely sets up a semifinal tilt vs. No. 4 seed West Virginia or No. 5 Kansas State at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
TCU's quarterfinal and semifinal games are both slated for a national telecast on ESPNU.
Sunday's championship tips at 4 p.m. and will air on ESPN.
