
TCU Goes Toe-to-Toe with Nation’s Elite at Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate

Horned Frogs tie for sixth in at Colonial Country Club; defeat four top-20 programs
FORT WORTH – TCU's performance at the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational will go down one as of its strongest of the season.
Competing against a field featuring 13 of the nation's top 30 programs, the 16th-ranked Horned Frogs tied for sixth over 54 holes of play at Colonial Country Club. TCU shot a three-over 283 in Tuesday's final round to finish plus-19 (859).
The Frogs ascended six spots up the leaderboard over the final two rounds of play in an event that was a de facto preview of May's NCAA D1 Women's Golf Championship. TCU tied No. 6 Texas for the sixth position and placed ahead of four top 20 teams; No. 5 USC, No. 15 Vanderbilt, No. 17 Texas A&M and No. 18 Mississippi State.
Defending national champion and top-ranked Stanford won the tournament at even-par (840). Anna Davis of Auburn claimed the individual championship with a score of nine-under 201.
TCU is likely assured of a top 15 Scoreboard team ranking ahead of the Big 12 Championship, which runs from April 16-18 at The Clubs at Houston Oaks in Hockley, Texas. The Horned Frogs will enter their regular season finale having finished no worse than six in any tournament.
In typical TCU fashion, the Horned Frogs closed strong. TCU was two-under over its final 10 holes and played the back nine even. Dating back to the 2023-24 campaign, the Horned Frogs have now carded their low round score in the final round of a tournament in 14 of their last 20 events.
Camille Min-Gaultier entered Tuesday's final 18 holes tied for eighth at one-under. The freshman maintained the top 10 position and solidified her stance as one of the best first-year players in America. The nation's No. 71 ranked player, Min-Gaultier shot a one-over 71 to finish even-par (210). She was the No. 2 overall finisher among freshmen in a field featuring 34 top 100 players.
Min-Gaultier earned her fourth top 10 individual finish of the season. She has been the Frogs' top performer a team-leading five times this season and in four of five spring tournaments. From La Londe-les-Maures, France, Min-Gaultier led the field in par-3 scoring (-3, 2.75).
All four remaining players in TCU's lineup improved their 36-hole position.
Kirstin Angosta jumped five spots into a tie for 26th (+6, 216). She matched Min-Gaultier's final day scorecard and was one-over across rounds two and three.
Sofia Barroso Sá was the biggest riser. She turned in an even-par 70 and leapt from a tie for 50th and into a five-way gridlock for 32nd. Barroso Sá was minus-two over her final 10 holes.
Gracie McGovern was the No. 3 performer in the Frogs' lineup over rounds two and three. She sat nine-over after round one. The freshman rallied to post a three-over 143 aggregate scorecard and two countable rounds. McGovern bagged a birdie on 16 that forced a tie with the Longhorns.
Meagan Winans tied for 37th at nine-over and finished plus-three on the day.
TCU scored par or better on 206-270 holes (76 percent). Only Stanford, Auburn and Arizona were better.
