First place in Big 12 standings on the line as TCU visits Manhattan
FORT WORTH – The most anticipated Big 12 regular season game of the year has arrived, as No. 9 TCU faces 12th-ranked Kansas State in a battle between the league's highest-ranked teams.
The winner of Wednesday's game – set for a 6:30 p.m. tipoff on ESPN+ – assumes sole possession of first place in the Big 12 standings with seven games remaining on each team's schedule.
Kansas State represents TCU's fifth straight opponent featured in the top 30 of the NCAA NET rankings. The Horned Frogs are 3-1 over the grueling three-week gauntlet, with victories over No. 23 Utah, No. 25 Baylor and preseason No. 8 Iowa State.
