10th-ranked Horned Frogs host Mountaineers in high-stakes affair on ESPN2
FORT WORTH– No. 10 TCU will engage in its most important Big 12 home game in its history on Sunday when it hosts 17th-ranked West Virginia at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2.
The Horned Frogs are tied with No. 19 Baylor atop the conference standings at 13-2 in league play and hold the tiebreaker over the Bears courtesy of their 80-75 victory on Jan. 26. A TCU victory over the Mountaineers, paired with a Baylor loss in its next two games, gives the Frogs a chance to clinch the university's first Big 12 basketball championship in their home finale vs. Houston on Wednesday.
TCU has won 20 consecutive home games ahead of Sunday's matinee, the longest active home winning streak in the Big 12.
The Frogs have dropped nine straight to West Virginia, who ranks second in the nation in turnovers forced (646, 24.9 per game).
