Plaschko Signs with Athlone Town

Plaschko heads to Ireland’s top division after stellar collegiate career.
FORT WORTH - TCU women's soccer goalkeeper Megan Plaschko has signed with Athlone Town AFC of the Women's Premier Division in Ireland.
In her only season as a Horned Frog, Plaschko posted five shutouts and collected a record of 13-3-1 in goal. She made 44 saves and posted a shutout while adding three saves against Oklahoma State in Stillwater to help the Frogs clinch their third regular season title in five years. Plaschko made four saves in the Big 12 Tournament semifinal win vs. BYU.
Plaschko ended her collegiate career with 31 shutouts, 232 saves, 7227 minutes played, a GAA of 0.90 and 40 wins in goal.
