Horned Frogs face off against top-seeded Commodores for a spot in College Cup

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In one of the most highly-anticipated matches in TCU women's soccer history, the No. 2 seed Frogs will face off against the top-seeded Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Vanderbilt Soccer Complex.

TCU NOTABLES

TCU will play in its second NCAA Quarterfinal match ever on Saturday against the Commodores.
TCU is 9-7-3 overall in its matchups in the NCAA Tournament, earning six of those wins in Fort Worth.
TCU has made nine of the last 10 NCAA Tournaments and recently hosted the second and third round for the first time.
TCU is seeking its first trip to the College Cup in program history.
The Frogs' defense has continued the tradition of making it difficult for opponents to score, allowing one or less goals in 17 of 22 matches.
TCU advanced past a defending national champion for the first time in program history when it bested North Carolina on PKs.
With Castain's hat trick against Grambling State and brace against Memphis, the senior now has six multi-goal games on the season and two hat tricks.
TCU has won the Big 12 regular season title in back-to-back seasons and four times in the past six years.
The Frogs earned a 9-1-1 record in conference play, totaling 28 points against Big 12 foes.
12 different individuals have scored a goal for the Frogs: Seven Castain, Kamdyn Fuller, Emma Yolinsky, Cameron Patton, Zoe Calyer, AJ Hennessey, Morgan Brown, Kaela Martinez, Sydney Becerra, Cate Sarinopoulos, Grace Vest and Katana Norman have combined for 52 goals.
Seven Castain is TCU's top goal scorer, having 17 goals on the year with seven of those being game-winning goals.
Cameron Patton and Sydney Becerra lead TCU with nine assists.
TCU is one of eight Big 12 programs to make the NCAA Tournament, joining the likes of Baylor, BYU Colorado, Kansas, Texas Tech, UCF and West Virginia. Out of all these temas, the Frogs are the only conference team still standing.
TCU earned three wins over top-15 opponents during the regular season, defeating No. 9 Iowa, No. 10 Baylor and No. 14 Kansas.
Olivia Geller has played the most matches in goal for TCU this season, securing 16 starts including the last eight matches. She's posted 49 saves on the year and a GAA of 0.87.
TCU has had eight multi-goal performances this year: Seven Castain (6), Emma Yolinsky (1) and Kamdyn Fuller (1).
16 players have posted 59 assists for TCU this season, and nine individuals have earned four or more assists.
A total of 26 players have earned game minutes at this point in the year.

VANDERBILT NOTABLES

Like TCU, Vanderbilt is also seeking its first-ever trip to the College Cup.
The Commodores won the SEC Tournament title after taking down LSU, a team they faced off against last round in the NCAA Tournament and defeated 1-0.
Sydney Watts leads Vanderbilt with 15 goals.
Sara Wojdelko has been a stalwart in goal, posting a GAA of 0.50.
