Fourth TCU player to receive preseason consideration for the award
FORT WORTH – Olivia Miles' campaign for national player of the year honors is in full force.
Miles was one of 50 players named to the 2025-26 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Watch List.
The selection is Miles' latest in a laundry list of preseason accolades.
Miles was tabbed to the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award Watch List on Monday. The 5-10 graduate student received preseason Associated Press honorable mention All-American recognition earlier in October. She began the month by earning Preseason Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and unanimous Preseason All-Big 12 Team honors following a vote of the league's head coaches.
Miles has now received Naismith Trophy consideration for four consecutive seasons. She was one of 10 semifinalists for the award in 2024-25.
The New Jersey native is the fourth player in TCU women's basketball history to earn preseason Naismith Trophy recognition and second in as many years. Former TCU All-American Hailey Van Lith joined Miles on the 2024-25 preseason watch list and was also a semifinalist.
Miles will make Horned Frogs debut on Nov. 6, when No. 17 TCU commences the 2025-26 campaign vs. North Carolina A&T. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
