No. 7 Frogs host No. 6 Oklahoma State to open season
FORT WORTH – Seventh-ranked TCU Equestrian will compete for the first time of the season when it faces Big 12 foe No. 6 Oklahoma State on Friday at 12:30 p.m. at KSM Bear Creek Farms in Burleson.
Friday's meet will mark the 46th all-time meeting between the Horned Frogs and Cowgirls, and Oklahoma State leads the series 28-17. The two teams met three times last season, with TCU sweeping the regular season – both by scores of 11-9, the most common score in program history – before OSU was able to get revenge in the Big 12 Championship.
The two programs have seen sustained success in the conference, with the two squads finishing in the top two of the Big 12 each of the last four seasons. In addition, the OSU and TCU have met in the Big 12 Championship in each of the last four seasons.
TCU has won its last seven season openers, however this will be the first time since 2013 the team will open the year against a Big 12 foe.

• Entering the 2025-26 season, the TCU equestrian program is amidst its winningest era

• In the preseason coaches' poll, TCU was placed at No. 7, marking the 13th consecutive season the Frogs have earned a spot in the preseason rankings
• This season, over half of TCU's meets will be against a team featured in the Preseason Top-10.
• In addition to the entire Big 12 being in the rankings, the Frogs will go against No. 1 Georgia and No. 3 Auburn to close out their fall slate as non-conference opponents.
LANNIE-JO READY FOR MORE
• Lannie-Jo Lisac is ready to build off her breakout 2024-25 season.
• The Pueblo, Colorado, native posted a record of 10-3-3 as a junior to earn herself NCEA Ariat
All-America accolades.
LILLY LEAPING INTO 2025-26
• After being an All-Big 12 selection last season, Lilly Goldstein is primed for another great season on the English side.
• She posted an 8-8 record in Fences with three MOPs last season.
• This built off her freshman season, where she had an 11-6 record on the Flat en route to being named a First Team All-American and the Big 12 Flat Rider of the Year.
LEADING BY EXAMPLE
• TCU's team leadership panel is made up of eight riders across five different categories.
• The team captains for 2025-26 are seniors Lannie-Jo Lisac and Victoria Zahorik.
•Leading up the Horse Care category is Marcella Bee and Katalina Considine.
• On Spirit is Kaylene Cunningham and Lex Lipacis.
• While all team members are encouraged to in SAAC, the representatives from the equestrian team are Tatum Keller and Lex Lipacis.
