
Zaun Nearly Perfect as Frogs Fire 4,714 Aggregate

FORT WORTH – Katie Zaun led TCU rifle in both disciplines and paced the field, including a near perfect mark in air rifle, as the Frogs posted a 4,714 team score Saturday at the TCU Rifle Range.
Zaun led all shooters with an aggregate of 1,190. Micah Hames and Rylie Passmore followed in fourth with scores of 1,180. It marked a new career high for Hames. Anne White (1,176) and Marissa Fedora (1,172) rounded out the top 10 performers in the match.
In smallbore, Zaun's sixth score over 590 this season proved pivotal in the 2,332 team score. Passmore added a 584, and White followed with a 580. Micah Hames and Ziva Swick contributed 577s as counters, while Hames posted a 582.
The Frogs turned in a 2,382 team score in air rifle, highlighted by Zaun's 599. She fired 57 perfect shots before hitting a 9.4. Hames followed with a career-high 598, that featured 30 straight perfect shots to close out her score; however, she wasn't a counter. Passmore and White finished with marks of 596. It was a career-high for Passmore and a season-best for White. Christina Hillinger also added a 595 to the scoring, and Hogan rounded out TCU's team total with a 592.
