Ella Bostwick named MOP in fences
AUBURN, Ala. – No. 1 TCU equestrian battled with fifth-ranked Auburn in its first road test of the season but came up just short against the Tigers.
FLAT
The meet began in the hunt seat arena, where Laurel Smith tied her point with Auburn's Mary-Grace Segars, both scoring 80. Ella Bostwick and Lilly Goldstein followed with scores of 86-84 and 85-83 to win their points, respectively.
REINING
In the reining arena, Lannie Jo Lisac started the Horned Frogs off with a tie against Alexia Tordoff with a score of 69. Kylie Baker won her point for the Frogs, scoring a 65.5-64.5 for her first career win.
FENCES
In the English arena, the fences team fell to Auburn 3-2 while putting up some strong scores. Graduate student Ashleigh Scully won her point, scoring an 84. Ella Bostwick won her point with an 85 and was also named MOP for the event.
HORSEMANSHIP
The final event of the day was an impressive competition from both teams. Graduate student Payton Boutelle won her point against Lauren Hall with a 75-72.5 spread.
Elizabeth West won her point against Auburn's Sydney Swallom 75.5-75, clinching her second career win and her first win on the road for the Frogs!

The Horned Frogs head to the University of Georgia to take on the Bulldogs at on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. CT.
FLAT
