
Frimodt Named to All-Big 12 Team

Senior is TCU’s first all-conference men’s golfer in five years
FORT WORTH – Gustav Frimodt earned one more award on Friday when he was named to the All-Big 12 Conference Team.
The 10 members of the All-Big 12 Team were chosen based on the final Clippd rankings. It was TCU's first All-Big 12 member since 2019 when Stefano Mazzoli and Hayden Springer were recognized.
The award comes days after Frimodt was named PING Third Team All-American, adding to his postseason awards that also includes PING All-Central Region.
The Big 12 Co-Champion shot -1.25 vs. par this season, the best mark in program history. His stroke average of 70.32 was the second-best ever at TCU.
In just 28 rounds this season, the Glamsbjerg, Denmark native, had 22 rounds of par or better, the eighth best in a season at TCU. Three of those rounds came at the Big 12 Championship where he was 9-under 279 to tie with two others for the title.
In the 13 rounds this season, Frimodt shot sub-70. His season-best came at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate where he shot 6-under 66.
One of Frimodt's six top 20 finishes came in his final collegiate tournament, the NCAA Austin Regional when he tied for 20th at 1-over 214.
