
Three Horned Frogs Advance to Friday’s Quarterfinals

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Three Horned Frogs punched their tickets to Friday's quarterfinals on the first day of the NCAA West First Round at John McDonnell Field.
Jayden Douglas broke the school record in the 400mH in Wednesday's first round. The freshman clocked a 50.73 to break the program record of 50.82 that was set by Clint Renfro in 2010. He finished third in his heat to automatically qualify for Friday's quarterfinals.
Joining him as an automatic qualifier was Kashie Crockett in the 200m. Crockett's time of 20.58 was good for a personal best and a second-place finish in his heat. He took eighth overall.
David Seete was the third Frog to record a personal best Wednesday evening as he recorded a 45.92 in the 400m. He finished 19th overall and advanced to Friday's quarterfinals.
Benjamin Kirbo capped off his stellar sophomore campaign with a 25th-place finish in the men's pole vault at 5.22m (17-1.50).
In the men's 800m. Lloyd Frilot finished 32nd with his time of 1:49.29. Ryan Martin took 42nd at 1:51.24.
