Frimodt will start play on Monday at 10:04 a.m.
FORT WORTH – Gustav Frimodt will begin postseason play at the NCAA Austin Regional, May 13-15, at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas.
The senior will tee off at 10:04 a.m. on hole No. 1 Monday. Tee times for Frimodt in the second and third rounds will begin as early as 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Frimodt will make the third NCAA Regional appearance of his career. He finished tied for 28th place in 2021 at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla., and tied for 43rd at last season's regional at Auburn University Club in Auburn, Ala.
The regional will consist of 18 holes each day starting May 13 and concluding May 15. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will advance to play in the championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., May 24-29.
The senior from Glamsbjerg, Denmark is enjoying the best season of his career. Currently ranked 23rd in the World Amateur Rankings and seventh in the PGA Tour University rankings, Frimodt is coming off a Big 12 Co-Championship on April 24 at Whispering Pines Golf Club.
Frimodt also earned co-medalist honors at the season-opening Valero Texas Collegiate. Of his 25 rounds of golf this season, 20 have been at or below par and he holds a scoring average of 70.2.

The University of Texas Golf Club is located at Steiner Ranch in the Hill Country of northwest Austin, overlooking Lake Austin and is the new home of the Texas men's and women's golf teams. The UT Golf Club has a 7,412-yard, par 71 championship-caliber golf course created by Bechtol Russell Golf Design. Built in the Texas Hill Country, the course overlooks Lake Austin and borders the Balcones Natural Wildlife Preserve, offering challenging shots and views that rival the best in Austin.

- Prior to the Big 12 Co-Championship, Gustav Frimodt, missed the previous two tournaments with an injury. He has led TCU in every tournament he's played this season and has six top 20 finishes.
- Frimodt started this season by earning co-medalist honors at the Valero Texas Collegiate in the opener. He was also ninth at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate and 12th at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational.
