BIG 12 Announces Soccer Conference Schedule

TCU will have five homes game against Big 12 competition
FORT WORTH - The Big 12 soccer 2024 conference schedule was announced on Monday. League play begins on Thursday, Sept. 12 and concludes on Friday, Oct. 25. TCU will play five home game and six road contests.
The Horned Frogs open conference play at home against the defending Big 12 regular season champions, Texas Tech on Thursday, Sept. 12. The following week, TCU will play host to BYU on Thursday, Sept. 19. The last match-up between the Frogs and Cougars saw an epic back-and-forth battle that led to a 3-3 draw in Provo.
TCU will close out its three-game homestand on Sunday, Sept. 22 when it hosts Big 12 newcomer Arizona. The schools last met in 2019 in Tucson in the NCAA Tournament.
TCU first conference road test comes on Sept. 26 at Houston. The road trip continues Sept. 29 as the Frogs will head to Baylor. The Frogs will close out its three-game road swing on Saturday, Oct. 5 when they travel to Boulder to take on league newcomer Colorado. The schools have met just twice all-time with TCU winning the most previous matchup 2-0 in 2021 at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
TCU will return to Fort Worth to take on West Virginia Thursday, Oct. 10. Another Big 12 newcomer will make its way to Funky Town when TCU hosts Arizona State on Sunday, Oct. 13. The Sun Devils and Frogs last played in 2008 in Tempe, Ariz. with the visiting Frogs winning 1-0.
The Frogs will play its remaining three conference games on the road. On Thursday, Oct. 17, the Frogs will travel to UCF. While not meeting in the regular season, the squads faced off in the Big 12 Quarterfinals in Austin, Texas.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, TCU will head to Ames, Iowa to take on Iowa State. The Frogs own a nine-game unbeaten streak over the Cyclones and won the last meeting, 3-0, in Fort Worth.
TCU will close out its conference slate in Stillwater, Okla. on Friday, Oct. 25.
The Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship are slated to return to Kansas City in 2024. The championships will be played at CPKC Stadium Oct. 30-Nov. 9.
