Horned Frogs set for final regular season meet
FORT WORTH – The No. 1 TCU equestrian team (11-0) is set to head to Dallas to face the No. 3 SMU Mustangs (8-4) in their last regular season meet of the season on Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. at the Dallas Equestrian Center.
The meet will begin with fences and horsemanship followed by flat and reining.
LAST TIME OUT
Last week, the TCU equestrian team traveled to Waco where they defeated the Baylor Bears 12-7. TCU won two of the three events and tied one against the Bears. This earned the Frogs their 11th consecutive victory this season for the first time in program history.
The Frogs secured three of the four Most Outstanding Performance honors respectively. Ella Bostwick in the fences and Giorgia Medows took home both western honors in the horsemanship and reining.
LAST TIME VS SMU
The Horned Frogs and then-No. 1 ranked Mustangs last met at KSM Bear Creek Farms in September 2023, where the Frogs earned the win against the Mustangs 12-6.
The Frogs have an all-time series record of 13-12 over the Mustangs.
