
Frogs End Strong at The Goodwin

Wilt leads TCU as all five had their tournament-best score on Saturday
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – TCU saved its best round for the final round as The Goodwin concluded Saturday at TPC Harding Park.
The Horned Frogs shot 17 strokes better than Friday's round with a score of 2-over 282 in the final round. TCU finished in 28th place at 41-over 881.
All five Frogs had their best round of the tournament on Saturday, led by Toby Wilt. The sophomore made four birdies for a score of 1-under 69. Wilt led TCU for the tournament at 9-over 219 and tied for 80th place.
Andrew Petruzzelli made three birdies and an eagle for his round of even-par 70. The freshman tied for 92nd place with Jack Beauchamp with a score of 10-over 220. Beauchamp also shot even-par 70 behind four birdies.
Ethan Dial and Chris Berzina each finished with a round of 3-over 73. Dial tied for 118th place with an overall score of 12-over 222.
The Horned Frogs next compete at the Hawkeye Invitational, April 13-14, in Iowa City, Iowa.
