TCU heads to Texas Tech Thursday and BYU Saturday
FORT WORTH - The TCU women's tennis team (10-4, 6-2 Big 12) heads west to play No. 25 Texas Tech (13-5, 6-1 Big 12) on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Lubbock. The Horned Frogs will travel to Utah to play No. 51 BYU in Provo (12-4, 4-3 Big 12).

The Horned Frogs are coming off a 6-1 win over Iowa State. The Horned Frogs earned the doubles point for the seventh time in a row on the purple courts. Chiho Mushika and Yu-Chin Tsai were first to finish earning their fifth conference win as a pair. Destinee Martins and Helena Narmont followed suit claiming their fourth win as a pair in Big 12 play.
Raquel Caballero kicked off singles action with a 6-2, 6-2 win on court five. This was the freshman's first win on the court in conference play. Tsai claimed the third point of the day from court four in straight sets. Pascual clinched the match for the Horned Frogs from court two earning her sixth win of conference play.
Martins battled through a marathon of a match on court two to earn her second win of the season on the court. The senior won 7-5 in the first set before falling 5-7 in set two. She claimed the victory after a 6-2 tiebreak set. Narmont wrapped up the day with a straight set win on court six 6-2, 7-6(7-4).
Scouting the Opposition
Texas Tech enters the match with a 13-5 overall record and a record of 6-1 in the Big 12. The Red Raiders have won four matches in a row with two wins being against ranked teams.
BYU has an overall record of 12-4 and a 4-3 record in the Big 12. The Cougars have dropped two of their previous contests but own a record of 3-1 in Provo.
