Peavy records second-career double-double
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – TCU's run in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship came to an end on Thursday with a 60-45 loss to top-ranked Houston in the quarterfinals.

The nation's best defensive team showed why at T-Mobile Center as the Cougars (29-3) held the Horned Frogs (21-12) to 23.3 percent shooting and its least productive offensive performance of the season.

Trailing 31-15 at the half, TCU outscored Houston in the second half, 30-29, as the Frogs had their best rebounding effort of the season. TCU outrebounded UH, 55-39, including 30 offensive boards, which were the most in 25 seasons. However, those translated to just 17 second chance points as shots just didn't fall for the Frogs.

Micah Peavy recorded his second double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds. He scored TCU's first points of the game at the 10:32 mark after trailing 16-0.

Chuck O'Bannon Jr. and JaKobe Coles each had seven points and seven rebounds.
