Horned Frogs to play UCLA, USC and Pepperdine
FORT WORTH - No. 2 TCU men's tennis heads to the Golden State for a trio of ranked matches in a five-day span.
The Horned Frogs battle No. 29 UCLA at 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday in Los Angeles, then continue their stay in southern California with duals at No. 44 USC and No. 40 Pepperdine on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
TCU enters the duals at 11-1 and has played nine straight ranked teams, defeating eight of them. The Horned Frogs hung 7-0 home defeats against the Bruins and Trojans in 2023.

2024 in Review
● The Horned Frogs won their sixth consecutive ITA Indoor National Championship on Jan. 28.
● While playing host of the ITA Kickoff weekend, TCU took down Rice, 4-0 on Jan. 27, then beat Tulsa, 4-, the following day to punch its ticket to New York City.
● After ITA Weekend, TCU played host to two top-15 teams inside the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. No. 15 Stanford traveled to Funky Town to take on the second-ranked Horned Frogs. TCU made quick work of the Cardinal, winning 5-2.
● Just two days later, TCU played in an instant classic against No. 6 Tennessee. TCU trailed 3-1 and was down to match point on court one, before Jake Fearnley earned his biggest collegiate victory thus far, defeating preseason ITA No. 2 singles player Johannus Monday in a come-from-behind three set win. The victory evened the dual and set Tomas Jirousek up for the match-clincher in straight sets on court six.
● TCU then traveled up north to play No. 13 Michigan on Feb. 13 and shoutout the Wolverines, 4-0, in its final tune-up for the ITA Indoor National Championships
● TCU advanced to its third consecutive ITA Indoor National Championship final via victories over No. 20 Arizona State (4-0), No. 12 Texas A&M (4-2) and No. 9 Wake Forest (4-2) from Feb. 16-18.
● The Horned Frogs drew No. 1 Ohio State in the finale. TCU led 3-2 after taking the doubles point and the top singles courts in straight sets. Ohio State denied TCU a three-peat after taking courts five and six in three sets.
● In its first outdoor dual of 2024, TCU outlasted No. 10 Texas, 4-3, in Fort Worth. Tied 3-3, Fearnley defeated the nation's No. 1 overall player, Eliot Spizziri, 4-6, 7-6 [8-6], 6-4, to stake TCU to the win.
● TCU is 8-1 overall against ranked foes. The Horned Frogs own a 4-0 record at home against ranked opposition, is 1-0 on the road and 3-1 on neutral courts.
