
Kellett Earns NWSL Preseason Camp Invite

Frog Alum signs with NC Courage
FORT WORTH- TCU women's soccer goalkeeper Lauren Kellett received a preseason camp invite with the NC Courage of the NWSL.
In her final season as a Horned Frog, Kellett posted a goals against average of 1.11, made 77 saves, including a career-high nine saves at No. 1 BYU and tallied eight shutouts.
In her time at TCU, Kellett was an All-Big 12 first-team honoree in 2021 and 2022. She was named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021. That same year, she made the Big 12 All-Tournament Team and was a member of the United Soccer Coaches first-team All-Midwest Region team.
Kellett leaves TCU as the all-time leader in shutouts (28), goals against average (0.80) and seventh all-time in saves (215).
TCU had five representatives in the NWSL during the 2023 season. Yazmeen Ryan won a championship with NJ/NY Gotham FC. Emily Alvarado (Houston Dash), Messiah Bright (Orlando Pride), Ryan Williams (NC Courage) and Jenna Winebrenner (Kansas City Current) were also on NWSL rosters.
