RIO GRANDE P.R. – The final 18 holes of tournament play were kind to TCU once more.
The Horned Frogs shot a two-under 286 on Tuesday to finish seventh outright at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic, held at Grand Reserve Golf Club.

Tuesday's finale marked the third time TCU has finished under-par in its final round in 2023-24. The Horned Frogs turned in an eight-under 280 scorecard in its season debut at the Sam Golden Invitational in September. TCU closed the fall portion of its season by setting a school record for low round vs. par (-17, 271) one month later at the Jim West Invitational.
TCU finished ahead of No. 9 Ole Miss, No. 22 Purdue and No. 50 Minnesota in a 15-team field that included seven programs featured in the top-50 of the Spikemark NCAA women's golf rankings.
The Horned Frogs joined No. 38 Oklahoma State as one of two competing Big 12 teams to place a pair of golfers in the top-20 of the individual leaderboard.
Lois Lau and Sofia Barroso Sa tied for 16th at one-under 215.
Lau fired a team-best 70 (two-under), carding birdies on three of her last seven holes. The senior has finished even or under-par in 13 of her 15 rounds this season. She has now tallied 338 career birdies, putting her within 20 of breaking the program's individual career record.
