
Gray to Represent TCU at NCAA Indoor Championships

The three-day meet begins March 7 in Boston
FORT WORTH- Iyana Gray has qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division I Track and Field Indoor Championships. The Championships occur March 7-9 in Boston, Mass. at The Track at New Balance.
Gray's name is all over the TCU record books as she most recently shattered her own school record in the 200m at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a 22.71. Her altitude-converted time of 22.78@ is the ninth-seeded time in the 200m.
She has run sub-23 in her last two meets, running a 22.98 at the Jarvis Scott Open along with her 22.71 in Lubbock at the Big 12 Indoor Championships. Gray was also a Big 12 Indoor Championship scorer in the 60m, placing sixth with her time of 7.31. She's a four-time Big 12 Indoor Championship scorer.
This is Gray's second year at TCU after spending her freshman season at UT-Arlington, where she was named the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Freshman of the Year in 2022. No stranger to the national stage, Gray was an Honorable Mention All-American in the 4x100 relay at the 2022 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
