
Gray, Kirbo Break Records at Jarvis Scott Open

TCU collected four event wins on the final day
LUBBOCK, Texas – Iyana Gray's and Benjamin Kirbo's school records highlighted a successful final day of the Jarvis Scott Open on Saturday at the Sports Performance Center.
Kirbo recorded a new personal-best height for the fourth time in four weeks to break his own school record. He won the pole vault with his height of 5.36m (17-7) to tie the 25th-best mark in the NCAA this season.
Gray's time of 22.98 in the 200m marked the new school record and broke the old record of 22.99 that was set in 2007 by Virgil Hodge. She finished second overall.
Also finishing second in the 200m was Kashie Crockett with his personal-best time of 20.68 – the fifth-fastest indoor time in program history.
TCU swept the men's 600y. Dominic Byles led the charge for the Frogs with his first-place time of 1:09.46 while Lloyd Frilot (1:09.47) and Giovouni Henry (1:09.83) placed second and third, respectively.
In the men's mile, Graydon Morris clocked the second-fastest indoor time in program history with his winning time of 4:06.75. Also notching a win from the Distance Frogs was London Culbreath with her time of 9:50.12 in the 3K.
Jasmin Muhammad-Graham continued her stellar weekend with a personal-best 1:19.87 in the 600y – good for second overall and the second-fastest indoor mark in program history. Sasha Crawford placed fourth (1:23.10) and Amelliah Birdow finished sixth (1:24.59).
Jayden Douglas finished third overall in Section B of the men's 200m with his time of 21.31. Teanna Harlin finished fourth in the women's 200m with her time of 23.43.
In the women's pole vault, Quinn Calhoun placed sixth with her height of 3.93m (12-10.75). Peyton McQuillan also recorded a top 10 finish in the mile with her time of 5:09.52.
Genesis Jackson jumped the ninth-farthest triple jump mark in indoor program history with her leap of 12.18m (39-11.50) to take seventh. Jade Ferrell was the leading TCU high jumper with her height of 1.67m (5-5.75).
In the women's shot put, Serina Ramirez finished eighth in the finals with her personal-best throw of 14.54m (47 8.50) to earn herself the No. 7 throw in TCU history.
