FORT WORTH – TCU men's basketball signed Xavier Edmonds and Kayden Edwards for the 2025-26 season.
Edwards is a four-star recruit out of Duncanville High School in Texas. The 6-2 guard, nicknamed "Bugg," is the 61st ranked player in the Class of 2025, the sixth-ranked player from Texas and the third-best recruit in program history according to 247Sports. He is No. 59 in ESPN's top 100.
Last season, Edwards averaged 23.9 points on 37.6 percent shooting from 3-point range while adding 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Edmonds is a 6-8 forward from Long Beach, Calif. He was a three-star recruit out of Bishop Montgomery in Torrance, Calif., and played at Salt Lake Community College last season where he averaged 14.0 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Edmonds scored 20 or more points five times, including a season-high 22 points two times. He had five double-doubles, which included two games of 16 rebounds.
