
Horned Frogs Sign Three to 2025-26 Roster

Class features versatile wing Clara Bielefeld and posts Emily Hunter and Sarah Portlock
FORT WORTH – TCU went global and fortified its future during the early signing period.
The Horned Frogs and head coach Mark Campbell announced the signings of versatile wing Clara Bielefeld and post players Emily Hunter and Sarah Portlock to a financial aid agreement on Wednesday.
Bielefeld is from Recklinghausen, Germany while Portlock hails from Victoria, Australia. Hunter is a Tennessee native but has played her prep ball at TPLS Christian Academy in Henrico, Va.
All three players will join the Horned Frogs' 2025-26 roster as freshmen.
Clara Bielefeld | 6-4 | Guard | Recklinghausen, Germany
Long and versatile, Bielefeld can play up to four positions. She was the top playmaker for the German National Team at the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket in July. Bielefeld put up a stat line of 9.4 rebounds, 7.4 points, 5.4 assists, two blocks and one steal per game She tallied the second-most assists (38) of any player in the tournament. Bielefeld also led the Germans in rebounds and was third on the squad in cumulative scoring (54 points).
"We are very excited to add a playmaking guard like Clara," Campbell said. "Her size and length at the guard position is unique. She fits our system and style of play, and we are very excited to have her a part of our program and family."
Bielefeld first made waves on the international stage in 2023, when she was named MVP of the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket Division B.
She has played professionally for Herner TC in the Damen-Basketball-Bundesliga, the premier women's basketball championship in Germany.
Sarah Portlock | 6-8 | Center | Victoria, Australia
Portlock has suited up for Basketball Australia for three straight years. She received her first call up in 2022 to compete in the FIBA U16 Women's Asian Championship 2021 Division A. The 6-7 center represented the Aussies in the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup that same year.
"We are thrilled to add a special player like Sarah to our basketball program," Campbell said. "She has competed and played at a high level in multiple FIBA tournaments. Sarah is just scratching the surface of the player she will become. We can't wait for her to get here and start working with our staff."
Portlock was also one of 30 players from the Asia Pacific selected to Basketball Without Borders Asia 2023, an invite-only development camp sponsored by the NBA and FIBA.
Domestically, Portlock won gold for Victoria 2024 Under-20 National Championships and was recently selected to the Victorian U20 State Women's team for 2025.
Emily Hunter | 6-7 | Center | Nolensville, Tenn.
Hunter played her first two seasons for Nolensville High School in Tennessee before enrolling at TPLS Christian Academy for her junior year in 2023-24. She averaged 15.4 points, 10.9 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game her junior year and scored a school 47 points in a game in February
"We are thrilled to add Emily to our basketball family," Campbell said. "She has a great feel for the game and has a huge impact defensively around the basket. The center is the anchor of our system, and we can't wait for her to get to campus."
