FORT WORTH – The TCU men's swimming and diving team will open their home slate against SMU this Friday, Oct. 25. The meet is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT at the TCU Recreational Center. Live results can be found on Meet Mobile.

The Frogs opened up their 2024-25 season on the road in a two-day meet against Texas A&M and BYU.
Senior Geremia Freri shined in the season-opener, leading the Horned Frog men with top three finishes in four of his races, including the only win on the first day in the 200 breaststroke. He went one-two with teammate Kito Camossato as the duo led the way with times of 2:01.91 and 2:04.23, respectively. Freri also grabbed second in the 200 freestyle (1:39.72) and the 200 IM (1:48.43).
Edgar Cicanci turned in a strong 200 backstroke (1:49.35) to finish second, and Nigel Forbes recorded the eighth best 100 butterfly in school history with a 48.43, good for second. Divers Bryn James and David Ekdahl each registered third place finishes in platform (293.70) and 3m (340.90), respectively.
The men's 200 yard medley relay opened up the second day with a win by the team of Cicanci, Jadon Wuilliez, Forbes, and Luke Dimiceli, touching with a time of 1:28.55. Wuilliez grabbed the lone individual win of the day for the Frogs in his signature event, the 100 breaststroke (54.81). Camossato placed third in this event with a 55.35.
James led the male divers with a 312.15 in the 1-meter, followed by Dillon (300.80) and Ekdahl (294.90). Dimiceli was nearly out touched in the 100 freestyle but still finished third with a time of 44.87. Freri and Viktor Hristov finished second and third, respectively, in the 200 yard butterfly and Forbes placed third in the 100 IM (50.13) to conclude the individual events.
