Caroline Kelly notches brace in the win

ORLANDO, Fla. - The No. 8 ranked TCU women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to 10 matches as the Horned Frogs earned a decisive 4-2 victory over UCF on Thursday night at the UCF Soccer Complex. Caroline Kelly recorded her second brace of the season in the win. Megan Plashcko tallied four saves in the contest.

The Rundown
Seven Castain gave the Horned Frogs an early 1-0 advantage in the 29th minute as she recorded her 10th goal of the year. Bella Diorio intercepted a pass from the Knights and delivered a through ball to Castain. She found the back of the net with a right foot strike.

The Frogs extended their lead to 2-0 on Caroline Kelly's first goal of the game. Cameron Patton pushed downfield and fed an open Camryn Lancaster. She beat her defended down the line before crossing the ball into the box and Kelly did the rest, using her heel to put the ball past the Knights goalkeeper.

UCF scored early in the second, cutting the Frogs lead to one in the 60th minute.

TCU stayed on the attack and finally found the net again in the 73rd minute. Bella Diorio hit the top right of the goal to put the Frogs back up two goals on a Lancaster feed in transition.

In the 84th minute, Kelly notched her second goal of the night. On a free kick, Kaela Martinez delivered a service to Castain who headed the ball to Kelly for the tap in to put the Frogs up 4-1.

UCF tallied its second goal of the contest in the 86th minute to account for the final score.
