Frogs kick off spring season at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
FORT WORTH – The TCU equestrian team is set for their annual trip to the John Justin Arena to open their spring season where they will take on No. 8 Delaware State at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The meet will begin with Fences followed by Flat, Reining and conclude with Horsemanship.
The Horned Frogs concluded the fall season undefeated through six meets for the first time in program history. Five of the six wins came over ranked opponents. TCU was ranked No. 1 in the NCEA weekly rankings for 10 consecutive weeks and finished the fall season at the top of the charts.

January 25th is TCU Day at the Rodeo! Come say "howdy" to your fellow Horned Frogs by wearing purple and receiving free admission to the rodeo grounds, as well as the equestrian meet!
LAST TIME OUT
The Horned Frogs ended the fall season with a 14-6 win over then-No. 8 Baylor at Bear Creek Farms. TCU earned three of the four Most Outstanding Performer awards against the Bears in Flat, Horsemanship and Reining.
Lily Goldstein earned the MOP in Flat on Lui with a career high score of 92. In Horsemanship, Giorgia Medows secured the MOP on Jake with a 76.5. Shea Graham rode Brittany to a 72.5 to earn the MOP in the Reining.
LAST TIME vs DELAWARE STATE
The last time TCU saw Delaware State was October 2022, where the Horned Frogs secured a 12-8 win. The Hornets entered the NCEA weekly rankings at No. 8 for the first time this season during week nine and have held their spot through the end of the fall season.
