TCU continued to keep the pressure on and eventually leading to a goal from Utah native Seven Castain. Lauren Memoly's beautiful pass from just in front of the midfield line found Castain's feet at the top of the 18. BYU cut the lead in half in the 36th minute, scoring on a header off a set piece.
In the second half, BYU came out aggressive and scored the equalizer on Allie Fryer's cross body shot just inside the box in the 54th minute.
The Frog's offense answered right back in the 61st minute as Seven Castain found the back of the net for the second time. The goal came off a great sequence that involved Camryn Lancaster sending a pass wide to Gracie Brian for a crossing feed that found Castain for the goal.
